Rhonda Sheens is the founder and principal of All Star Dance and Entertainment. She began her training at the age of 10 and studied in all facets of the entertainment industry in the Western Sydney region at J&C Dancers. This is where her love and passion for dance flourished. During this time Rhonda performed in many competitions, talent quests, and shopping centre production shows in and around Sydney. At the young age of just 13, she started teaching as a junior teacher at the J&C studios. This developed into her becoming a leader and she was given the roll of Dance Captain, which she fulfilled for over 10 years.
After her training Rhonda continued to perform professionally in Australia and overseas. Contracts to Japan, Greece and the UK were on the agenda and she also acted as a personnel assistant and lead dancer for many.
On her arrival back to Australia in 1987, Rhonda opened “Ronnie's Dance Hall”. She then began to start sharing with others her passion for dance through the role of teaching. In the year 2000, Rhonda was invited to perform under the direction of Dein Perry at the Sydney Olympic Games in the segment “ETERNITY” and she continued to dance as a back-up dancer for various tribute shows around the Sydney club circuit.
As Rhonda’s career as a dancer flourished she continued running her studio which was growing and expanding in numbers. She decided that dance and entertainment was her calling and she re-branded her little studio and produced ALL STAR DANCE AND ENTERTAINMENT.
The company is now in its 30th year and has become a great success. The Studios offer an extended range of skills for young performers wanting to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Rhonda is the proud owner of All Star and will continue to pass on her love and knowledge of dance for many years to come.
